S.O.S - Humanity's Plight

War has torn the world apart. Humanity has fought with eachother for resources and land on a dying earth. Now, only ruins and desert cover the lands. What isn't desert are the few and rare forests of dead trees. There is, however, a rumor that a human civilization has survived. Is it true? Is humanity saved from its own self-destruction?

This is a prelude to 'Scorched Earth'. I placed it in 'Real Life' because in this rp, there is no future tech, no alien tech, and we are not continuing past the humans being saved.
