Gallery of Horror

Welcome to the gallery of the dearly departed Giacomo, famous painter and sculptor. Do you like "Abyss of the Deep"? Or how about "Worry"? Please be sure to view "Fabricated World". Very few enjoy this painting, but it is truly one of Giacomo's more... powerful works of art.

Rules

• The Usual
  
• For this rp please make at least 2 characters - a 'real' person, and a 'portrait'. Do NOT label who is the portrait and who is the 'real' person. (See Notes)
  
• No magic, and please no complicated 'destiny' crap.
  
• Each person has a rose. This rose is a color that corresponds with the character. Please try and avoid characters having matching roses
  
• Please pm me with ideas or questions

Notes

• When your character views "Fabricated World" the lights grow dark, no one is around, and a personalized message of 'CoMe ****' will appear on the floor
  
• 'Portrait' people are from the alternate gallery. All they want is to escape into the real world, but to do so someone must take their place in the gallery. You can have other motivations, and 'portrait' people don't have to be evil, but keep in mind that the gallery is a very dark, twisted, and lonely place
  
• Roses represent a character's health. If petals are plucked from the rose then the person that corresponds with that rose will first feel weak, then they ache, gashes will appear on them, and then finally they die.

Alex looked at the red paint writing on the floor and swallowed hard. One moment he was looking at 'Fabricated World', the next he was staring down at red paint. With how dark it got Alex was starting to worry about his parents. He walked around, but saw no one.

He headed back to 'Fabricated World', but as he passed 'Abyss of the Deep' he noticed the sculpture was gone! And a hole was in its place. He peered into the hole and suddenly found himself falling.

He saw the room he was going to fall into and panicked when he saw the hole that lead to even more darkness. He grabbed the edge of the floor and clawed his way out. He backed away from the hole and caught his breath. Looking around, all he could say was "Oh my..."

Frederick came to laying on his back, notepad and pen on his chest, sitting up and knocking his utensils to the floor, he saw the red letters, he gulped, "O-okay." He muttered.

Slowly getting to his feet, he gathered up his stuff and slipped them into the pocket of his suit jacket.

Last thing he remembered was looking at the piece of work 'Fabricated World' by Giacomo, and the next thing he knew he was here.

Looking around, "H-Hello? Anyone here?" He called out nervously.

"C...O...M...E..." whispered a soft voice

"C...O...M...E...T...O...T...H...E...A...B...Y...S...S"

Frederick looked around, "The...Abyss?" Finally he came to a conclusion, "Oh, the Abyss of the Deep." He slowly began walking through the halls, trying to remember where the painting was...assuming that this was the same gallery.

"G...A...Z...E...D...E...E...P...L...Y...U...N...T...O...N...O...T...H...I...N...G...N...E...S...S"

Frederick listened to the voice, he was about to look into the Abyss when it hit him, "Why am I even listening to this...voice?" He mouthed to himself.

"JUST FUCKING LOOK!!!"

Frederick jumped at the voice's bellowing and teetered on the edge of the hole. A slight tremor from him sent him over the edge, he yelled as he fell.

Alexander heard someone yelling and prepared to catch a potential falling person.

Frederick's whole weight crashed into an unknown person, driving the wind from his lungs.

Alexander nearly fell in the hole, but managed to pull the stranger up to safety.

Frederick's chest heaved as he tried to catch his breath, kneeling on the floor, "T-Tha-nks..." He panted.

Alexander panted and replied "M-my... pleasure... heh heh"

Frederick rolled over onto his back, still trying to catch his breath. His hand automatically went for his pocket, he breathed a sigh of relief when he found that his notepad was still there.

"W-Whe-re are w-we?" He panted.

"No idea," Alexander replied as he looked around the barren room once more "I just 'dropped in' a few moments before you did"

Frederick sat up and rubbed his temples, "All I can remember is looking at 'Fabricated World,' then waking up on the floor, then falling into you." He made an upset sound as he closed his eyes, trying to fight off a migraine.

"Do you think... that painting...?" Alexander wondered aloud

((Mom says 'Hi'. Dad says 'Bugger off', which means he likes you))

Frederick shook his head, "When they said that 'Fabricated World' was one of Giacomo's more powerful works, this is not what I had in mind..."

Getting to his feet, he looked to the man, "I'm Frederick Burnside." He extended his hand with a smile.

"Alexander Perrier" he replied as he shook Frederick's hand.

Looking around the room, "I think it might be prudent if we were to try to find a way out of here."

Alexander pointed to the only door and said "by all means, take the lead. I am no leader"

Frederick shrugged, "So be it." He walked over to the door and opened it, peering out he found himself at the intersection of three hallways, "I hope this doesn't end up being some sort of screwed up maze...."
