"A Mystic is someone who can use MAGIC," Acrimony explained "tha's whachyer tornado thingy is!"

Immediately, Kaleb looked down at the tornado that had reappeared by his feet, "Magic?" He muttered.

"Did I stutter? MAGIC" Acrimony replied with his usual impatience.

A vein pulsed in Kaleb's temple, he was getting tired of this, "I have a question that will wrap up any more I have, why are we Mystics here? What is our purpose?"

Crawly crossed his arms and asked "Do you know about Terra? Tell me what you know and I'll fill in the blanks"

Henry shook his head. He knew nothing.
Alastair looked at Eugene and asked "Is Terra a food?"
Eugene chuckled and said "I don't think Terra is food, but I don't know for sure"

Kaleb shook his head, he recited his next words from his memory, "Terra, the spirit of the Earth. She gives all that live upon it life, she is the reason that any human or animal lives."

He relaxed his sword hand slightly, but kept it at the ready to fight if he had to.

"I see one of you is well versed. Yes, Terra is... life itself. For lack of a better term" Crawly replied. He closed his eyes and explained

"Every 100 years to the day, Hell to the hour, Terra's spirit is purged from the Eterna Tree. When this happens, the Mystics are called to find and bring Terra back to the Tree. But, for our own reasons, Demons also hunt Terra. Some will kill her if they get to her, such as Acrimony or Hypoxia, and others simply... take her with them... such as myself. Should a demon kill or take Terra away the land will die, and humanity will soon follow. If she is to return to that prison of a tree, life will continue"

"If that's the case, and the Mystics are being brought together, then we have to hurry." Kaleb said with a sense of finality.

"Are you sure you have no other questions?"

Kaleb shook his head, "Nothing from me."

Alastair ran up to Crawly, took his hand and asked "can... can we be friends? I mean after the fighting over Terra, no matter what, can we be friends?" Crawly hesitated before answering "erk... we... we shall see" Crawly took his hand back and bid the group farewell, then was suddenly gone. Hypoxia melted away and evaporated, and Acrimony burst into flame and vanished.

Cressil simply vanished in a globe of darkness.

Eugene approached the church door and said "well, the path is laid before us. Now all we need is to figure out what the first step is and how to achieve it"

Putting the katana away, "I concur. Let's go."

Alastair asked "Go? Go where?"

Kaleb froze in midstep and turning to Alastair, he scratched his head, "You have a good point. Where to go?"
